OUR ACTIVITIES
CBA Camp
CBA Camp is an annual event where we spend a whole week with 25 selected young men and women we are establishing and equipping.
By the end of the week we will have done a manuscript study of a book in the Bible and completed another book in the Bible during QT devotions.

We dedicate this time to dig into the Word of God, spend time in prayer, and receive training for life and ministry while enjoying the sport of basketball.
Attendees will travel out of their home context and spend a week in other beautiful locations around Kenya.
​
CBA Week will have multiple guest speakers and mentors who will walk side by side with the attendees through the week, modelling how to read and study the Word of God, modelling a prayer life, and leading sessions to help each attendee grow in their spiritual walk and in the game of basketball.

Basketball Tournament
We hold basketball tournaments three times a year during the school holidays, inviting teams from all over Nairobi for two days of sports competition.

We provide snacks, refreshments, and rewards for the finalists
Moreover, on both days attendants get an opportunity to hear the Gospel proclaimed, This is an opportunity for us to not only evangelize those in CBA but also the many visiting teams in attendance.
​
Our teams also participate in the local league. This exposure has proven helpful not only in growing their basketball skills but also as a platform for potential scholarships for high school and college.

Bible Study
Every day before practice we begin with a word of prayer and during the water break, we sit down to hear from God’s word. The word shared is evangelistic.
The practice will again end with a prayer.
This year we have begun different bible studies for the various ages (physical and spiritual).
